Hi, I’m Giovanna.

I created Giovanna Lately as a space to share the things I’m learning, loving, healing through, and coming back to lately.

This space is a mix of wellness, beauty, creator life, spirituality, mental health, feminine energy, shadow work, internet culture, and real-life thoughts. Not from a place of perfection, but from personal experience, curiosity, and wanting to feel more connected to myself.

Another reason I decided to start Giovanna Lately is because I’ve always had so many thoughts, ideas, observations, and deeper conversations living inside of me that I wanted to share. A lot of the time when I tried expressing these things in real life, I found myself being talked over, dismissed, misunderstood, or simply not fully heard. And honestly, I understand that not everyone connects to the same kinds of conversations. Some of the things I think about are more spiritual, emotional, intuitive, or even mystical in nature. I’ve always been a dreamer at heart.

I’ve learned that not every thought is meant for every person. So instead of shrinking those parts of myself, I decided to create a space where I could express them freely. I figured maybe these thoughts, experiences, and reflections would eventually find the people they were meant to reach.

A little about me outside of the internet; I graduated from Full Sail University and spent years working behind the scenes in broadcast and media environments for major corporations. I also spent almost four years traveling the world while working on cruise ships, which completely changed the way I view people, energy, culture, and life itself.

I come from a big Sicilian family and I’m incredibly grateful for how close we all are. My parents, brothers and sisters are some of the most important people in my life. I also have a cat named Jada, who is genuinely one of the sweetest little souls. She is loving, gentle, and always somewhere nearby keeping me company while I work on new ideas.

Creativity has always been a huge part of who I am. I started my first clothing brand, Third Journey, as a reflection of personal growth, self-discovery, spirituality, healing, and transformation. It is more than just clothing to me, it is wearable energy. Something that made me feel spiritually and energetically protected, while also serving as a reminder that we are constantly evolving through different versions of ourselves.

After taking a small step back creatively, I later started Unamused Clothing, which allowed me to explore a completely different side of myself. More bold, playful, chaotic, expressive, and unapologetic. I think one of the biggest things I’ve learned about myself is that it’s very hard to keep me inside one aesthetic, one category, or one version of who I am. Some days I want to disappear quietly into my own world and protect my energy. Other days I want to be vibrant, expressive, loud, creative, and fully seen.

And honestly, I think both versions deserve space to exist.

I’m not here to pretend I have everything figured out. I’m here to document the journey, share what has helped me, and create a space where women can feel seen, supported, inspired, and less alone in the things we don’t always say out loud.

Whether I’m talking about a skincare favorite, a wellness ritual, a mindset shift, a spiritual reset, or simply navigating life as I evolve through different seasons of myself, my intention is always the same: to share honestly, softly, creatively, and with purpose.

This is a space for women who are healing, evolving, rebuilding, glowing up, questioning everything, rediscovering themselves, and learning how to come back home to who they truly are.
