Week 12: Moving On From GLOW and Trying Something New

This week marked the end of my time using the GLOW peptide blend.

While the daily injections weren't necessarily difficult, they definitely weren't my favorite part of this journey. Between the stinging, occasional welts, and having to pin every single day, I found myself looking forward to simplifying my protocol. Even though I decided to stop using the blend, I was still interested in researching some of the ingredients individually.

As I spent more time reading research articles, forum discussions, and personal experiences from other researchers, I kept running into conversations about peptide blends versus individual peptides. There seems to be an ongoing debate about whether blends are as effective as taking each peptide separately. I don't know if that's actually true, but it was enough to make me curious.

Because of that, I decided to order GHK-Cu by itself and see how my experience compares.

One thing I found interesting during my research is that many people report not noticing significant changes from GHK-Cu until around the third month of consistent use. Since one of the commonly discussed benefits of GHK-Cu is supporting collagen repair, I thought it would be interesting to explore while continuing my weight loss journey. As the weight comes off, maintaining skin quality is something I've become increasingly interested in.

At the same time, I also ordered NAD+, which I'm still waiting to receive. Once both arrive, I'll be adding them into my research protocol and documenting my experiences along the way.

Adjusting My MOTS-C Schedule

This week I also spent more time researching MOTS-C.

One thing I noticed is that there are a lot of different opinions regarding dosage amounts and injection frequency. Some researchers prefer multiple doses throughout the week, while others prefer less frequent administration.

After reading through different perspectives, I decided to make a small adjustment to my own schedule.

Instead of taking MOTS-C every three days, I switched to taking it once per week at the same time as my Retatrutide injection. So far, I've actually been enjoying the change. I still feel energized throughout the week, and having everything on the same day makes my routine feel much simpler and easier to manage.

I'll continue monitoring how I feel over the next several weeks to see if the reduced frequency changes anything.

Weight Update

This week I noticed my weight continuing to fluctuate up and down by a few pounds depending on the day.

I've learned that these fluctuations are pretty normal and can happen for a variety of reasons, including hydration, sodium intake, hormones, and activity levels. Instead of focusing too much on the daily numbers, I've been paying closer attention to the overall trend.

Despite the fluctuations, I ended up losing another 2 pounds this week.

While the progress isn't as fast as it was during the first several weeks, I'm still moving in the right direction, and that's what matters most. One thing this journey has taught me is that weight loss rarely happens in a perfectly straight line.

I Keep Making This Mistake On Reta

Reta can make food noise disappear so much that sometimes I genuinely forget to eat. After rollerblading at the beach all day on an empty stomach, my body reminded me very quickly why nourishment still matters.
